The networking begins at 6:00pm and the meetings are generally completed by 8:30-9:00 pm. 


You do not have to be employed to be a member, this is a great place to go to get advice and network with other women.

Welcome to Working Women's Forum

 

We are an organization of women in the Western Connecticut area founded in 2005. We meet to grow professionally and personally through education, networking and the sharing of ideas and experiences. 

We meet the second Wednesday of each month.  Our meeting format currently is networking, appetizers and cash bar and usually a presentation.  The cost to attend is $20 for non-members and $10 for members.

You do not need to be currently working to attend meetings or become a member. This is a great organization to belong to if you are self-employed or considering starting your own business.

 Sophfronia Scott, executive editor of The Done For You Writing & Publishing Company, is also a novelist (All I Need to Get By; St. Martins Press) and life coach with over twenty years of experience as a professional writer. She helps entrepreneurs and speakers to write and publish books to promote their businesses. Her latest book is How the Fierce Handle Fear: Secrets to Succeeding in Challenging Times.
